4-H is the youth component of the University of Wyoming Extension.  They join a community of young people across America that are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

The 4-H program is an informal, practical, learn-by-doing program for youth.  The purpose of 4-H is to assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing skills, and forming attitudes to enable youth to become self-directing, productive members of society.
