The Treasurer's Office accepts credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) for payment. The following fees will be assessed for each transaction:
(Debit or Credit)
$1.50 for transactions less than $60.00
2.49% for transactions $60.00 and above.
3.50%, plus $1.50
Why do I have to pay an extra fee?
The Treasurer's Office pays a small fee per transaction to credit card providers. License plates renewal fees are set by state statute and the office is, by law, unable to absorb the cost of the additional provider fee.
