Help control invasive weeds and earn some cash

Beginning June 1, 2021, Natrona County Weed and Pest will pay $0.50 per pound for two species of invasive weeds.

  • Houndstongue– A biennial weed that forms small “nutlets” that stick to every-thing, including bare skin. Plants are often found in large patches along trails,
  • Common Burdock—A biennial weed that forms large “bur” structures. Leaves are very large, and often grow in shaded areas. Dead standing structures are often present where new plants are sprouting.

In order to receive payment, you must follow the process explained here (PDF).

Questions?  Please call the Weed and Pest office at 307-472-5559 or stop by their office at 6819 W. Yellowstone Hwy.
