Unless otherwise specified and with the exception of Collector Car Storage Conditional Use Permits, a Conditional Use Permit runs with the land and does not terminate when the property is sold.

The permit cannot be transferred to another property. The conditions imposed on a permit are based on the circumstances of the site. If one would like to conduct the use at a different location, a new permit will need to be obtained.
The Conditional Use Permit takes effect once approved by the Board of County Commissioners. If the use does not commence within one year, the permit is deemed void.
Once the application is accepted, County staff will conduct a departmental review. The Planning Department will also take the application before the Planning & Zoning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners.
